Product Overview: The Tumbller

The Tumbller is a newly engineered self-balancing robotic car kit boasting multiple functionalities, providing users with a fantastic hands-on experience. This DIY kit encourages creativity in children, sparking their imaginations.

Standing Feature With a simple press of the command key, Tumbller tilts forward. Pressing the key again allows it to stand up on its own while maintaining balance.

Obstacle Avoidance Equipped with ultrasonic sensors, Tumbller can autonomously avoid obstacles in its path by emitting waves and calculating distances, ensuring a collision-free experience.

Auto-follow Functionality When encountering an obstacle, Tumbller adapts by moving forward or backward. It also adjusts its course by turning left or right when an obstacle is detected on either side.

Dynamic Lighting After pressing the command key, Tumbller activates a light effect. A second press switches to another effect among six available options, allowing you to customize according to your preferences.

ELEGOO Kit APP Selecting your preferred language is simple: just click on the language list in the top-left corner. Tap on Tumbller to access the control page and engage with your robotic car.

ELEGOO BLE Tool APP Connect to Bluetooth via the icon in the top right corner. If you experience difficulties finding the Bluetooth connection, switch off the Tumbller, restart it, and try reconnecting. The left icon represents Rocker Control, while the right is for DIY Control.

Operational Guidelines By holding the rocker control, you can direct the Tumbller in eight possible directions. Releasing the rocker puts Tumbller in standby mode.

When using the Tumbller, remember to ensure all screws, especially on the coupling, are tightly secured, as they may loosen with extended use. Also, note that in DIY control, the right turn command is "i," contrary to what is stated in the paper manual.

Should you encounter bent infrared sensors during assembly, gently twist them until they stand upright; this will ensure optimal functionality. Be mindful that the Tumbller will rotate its wheels even when picked up vertically. If tilted beyond ±27º, rotation will cease.

Environmental Considerations The Tumbller is sensitive to bright sunlight; strong light conditions can impair sensor accuracy. If the battery is running low, the LED indicator will flash red. For programming updates, use the USB interface and ensure the battery is off during the process to avoid interference.
